Small secluded sunny garden with plants and paved patio with stone table and bench.
Barbecue and supply of folding chairs available.

There is a pay phone in the sitting room which takes 10p and £1.00 coins
Oil -fired central heating
Ample electric fires and coal are provided.
Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided. Visitors should provide their own bed linen, towels. Bed linen can be hired by prior arrangement.
The cottage is well and comfortably equipped for staying in. However, as it is primarily a family cottage, intending visitors should not expect the standards or service of either a stately home or a hotel.

A cleaner comes in between lets. The turnaround time is quite tight and therefore we rely on the cooperation of guests to leave the cottage clean and tidy. An ample supply of cleaning materials is available for use during your stay.

Letting is from 3.00 p.m. Friday to 10.00 a.m. Friday.

Open coal & wood fire

Our self catering cottage is an end of terrace eighteenth century listed building in a conservation area. It therefore has some built-in limitations on access and movement, in particular, steep and narrow stairs to the upper floor. It is not suitable for wheelchairs and may be unsuitable for people with restricted mobility. We will gladly email on request our Access Statement which gives you an indication of the cottage's facilities and restrictions.
